A care team, which focuses much of its efforts on celebrating the successes of other professionals in the sector, is now shortlisted for an award recognising its own achievements.

The Inspired to Care team, supported by Leicestershire County Council, is shortlisted in the ‘Putting People First’ category of the Great British Care awards.

Taking place in late November, the awards recognise the hard work, achievements and dedication of social care practitioners across the East Midlands region.

Inspired to Care help providers to recruit committed front-line professionals by promoting the rewards of a career in care, the work includes liaising with employers to provide tailored recruitment and retention resources.

I’m delighted that the team is getting the recognition it deserves with this nomination. Their support ensures dedicated professionals can start their journey towards a career in social care and help countless people across Leicestershire
