Leicestershire County Council employees must read and follow the Employee's code of conduct to ensure their behaviour meets the requirements on:

  • Standards
  • Policies and procedures
  • Public and Social media
  • Relationships 
  • Personal, business, financial and other interests
  • Bribery, Fraud and Corruption
  • Protecting the Council's Business Interests
  • Whistleblowing
  • Disclosure of Information
  • Political neutrality

Breaches

Employees found not to be following this Code, will be investigated, which may result in disciplinary action being taken, which could lead to dismissal.
