A large, busy library close to the town centre. The library has a ramp to the entrance and is on one level with wide aisles.

Due to an author talk for invited schools, the children’s area will be out of use from:

Activities

Colouring Club

Every Thursday 1pm to 2.30pm.

An informal group for those wishing to do some colouring in a friendly and relaxed group. Materials provided for this drop in, free session.

Diabetes Support Group

2nd Tuesday of every month, drop in between 3pm - 5pm

The support group is open to anyone affected by diabetes  including friends, family and carers. For further information please contact Bill Brown, Group leader on Tel: 07876 74811

Enterprise hubs

Every Friday 10am to 12pm.

Provides support for anyone aged 18 or above looking for support with business or self-employment.  Come along to our informal drop-in sessions for one-to-one business support, business opportunity profiles, market analysis, information regarding business plans, local business information, networking opportunities and access to seminars.

Make friends with a book

Every Tuesday 1pm to 2.30pm.

A place to relax, a chance to make new friends, and a new way to enjoy sharing reading. There is no pressure to read or talk, you can simply drop in, sit down and relax as you listen to a good story or poem. There is no homework and free refreshments are available.

Stay and Play Saturdays

Alternate Saturdays 10:30am to 12pm.

Coalville Library will run ‘Construction Club’ and ‘Games Gang’ so come along and enjoy playing with Lego at Construction Club or try out our wide range of games and puzzles at Games Gang. Free for adults and children. Please ring the library to enquire whether it is currently a ‘Construction Club’ or ‘Games Gang’ week.

Work clubs

Every Friday 10am to 12pm.

If you are aged 18 or above we can help you with returning to work, if you are under threat of redundancy, looking for a career change, looking for employment or training.  Come along to our informal drop-in sessions for help with CVs, cover letters, setting up an email address, IT skills, searching and applying for jobs, interview techniques, access to training and volunteering opportunities.

Wriggly Readers

Every Monday 2.15pm to 2.45pm and every Thursday 10.15am to 10.45am

Fun, informal sessions where babies and children aged 0-4 years and their parents/carers can join in with stories, songs and rhymes in a welcoming environment. An opportunity for families to meet and make friends.
