Local Studies Reference Room

Open times: 

Monday - 10am to 12 noon

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 10am to 12 noon, and 2pm to 4pm.

Volunteers are available during these hours to assist with Loughborough based local studies enquiries. Lending from local studies and genealogy collections is available during normal library opening hours.

Activities

Wriggly Readers

Mondays 10.30am to 11am, and Thursdays 2.15pm to 2.45pm.

Fun, informal sessions where babies and children aged 0-4 years and their parents/carers can join in with stories, songs and rhymes in a welcoming environment. An opportunity for families to meet and make friends.

Booking advised – Sessions operate with a restricted number of attendees. You are strongly advised to book in advance, either in person or by phone as the sessions are very popular. Booking opens one week in advance of the session date i.e. at 10am on Monday morning for the next Monday session and 10am on Thursday morning for the next Thursday session.

Construction Club

Drop-in, every Saturday 10am to 1pm.
