Booking advised – Sessions operate with a restricted number of attendees. You are strongly advised to book in advance, either in person or by phone as the sessions are very popular. Booking opens one week in advance of the session date i.e. at 10am on Monday morning for the next Monday session and 10am on Thursday morning for the next Thursday session.

To use the library during smart hours please complete a Smart Library induction and familiarise yourself with the layout and exits of the library using the:
Local Studies Reference Room
Monday - 10am to 12 noon
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 10am to 12 noon, and 2pm to 4pm.
Volunteers are available during these hours to assist with Loughborough based local studies enquiries. Lending from local studies and genealogy collections is available during normal library opening hours.
Macmillan Coffee Morning
Tuesday 26th September 10.30am to 12noon.
Pop in for a coffee and cake.
Your donations will help Macmillan do whatever it takes to support people living with cancer.
Mondays 10.30am to 11am, and Thursdays 2.15pm to 2.45pm.
Fun, informal sessions where babies and children aged 0-4 years and their parents/carers can join in with stories, songs and rhymes in a welcoming environment. An opportunity for families to meet and make friends.
Work & Skills Leicestershire Employment Hub
Tuesdays 10am to 12pm.
If you live in Leicestershire and are aged 18 or above, we can help you with looking for employment, training or volunteering.
Come along to our informal drop-in sessions for help with CVs, cover letters, setting up an email address, IT skills, searching and applying for jobs, interview techniques, access to training and volunteering opportunities.
