Local Studies Reference Room
Open times:
Monday: 10am to 12 noon
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 10am to 12 noon, and 2pm to 4pm.
Volunteers are available during these hours to assist with Loughborough based local studies enquiries. Lending from local studies and genealogy collections is available during normal library opening hours.

Clockwise Credit Union
Every Thursday 10am to 12pm.
A fair, responsible and people focused credit union providing a wide range of money products and services.
Digital Drop In
Every Tuesday 10am to 12noon.
Help with IT skills and support with using devices. Including setting up email, social media, job searching, online shopping and online safety.
Make friends with a book
Every Tuesday 2pm - 3.30pm.
A place to relax, a chance to make new friends, and a new way to enjoy sharing reading. There is no pressure to read or talk, you can simply drop in, sit down and relax as you listen to a good story or poem. There is no homework and free refreshments are available.
Royal British Legion
First Thursday of the month 10am to 12noon.
Information and guidance for those who have served in our armed forces.
Singing Café
Every Friday 10am to 11am.
For people with mental health problems such as dementia and their carers. Sing-a-long with favourite songs from the past and reminisce with a chat and cup of tea.
Super Saturday Construction Clubs
Every Saturday 11am to 1pm.
Drop in, free.
Colouring, crafts and board games also available.
Work clubs
Every Tuesday 10am to 12pm.
If you are aged 18 or above we can help you with returning to work, if you are under threat of redundancy, looking for a career change, looking for employment or training. Come along to our informal drop-in sessions for help with CVs, cover letters, setting up an email address, IT skills, searching and applying for jobs, interview techniques, access to training and volunteering opportunities.
Wriggly Readers
Every Monday and Thursday 10.30am to 11am
Fun, informal sessions where babies and children aged 0-4 years and their parents/carers can join in with stories, songs and rhymes in a welcoming environment. An opportunity for families to meet and make friends.
