Leicestershire County Council is looking for new generations of foster carers who can step into a hugely-rewarding role and offer loving homes to vulnerable children and young people.

An informal information evening will be held from 6.15pm to 8pm on Thursday, 14 September, at County Hall, in Glenfield, and will provide an opportunity for people to meet and talk to carers, as well as the council’s fostering team.

Before embarking on the fostering journey, prospective foster carers will inevitably have a number of questions.

“That’s why the team will be on hand at the event to provide all the support and information needed, no matter how far along the foster journey people are.

 The next few fostering events are as follows:

•          Thursday 14 September;
•          Wednesday 4 October;
•          Wednesday 25 October; and
•          Wednesday 15 November.
