Residents are being urged to become adoptive parents and attend our ‘Find out about Adoption’ event.

Due to be held at County Hall, Glenfield on Tuesday, 19 February,  the event is designed to encourage more parents to open their hearts and homes to children and become their 'forever family'.

Each event provides an opportunity to learn about the adoption process, meet and talk to current adopters (and our adoption team) and find out how adopting can change both your life and the lives of our children in the council's care.

The events have proven to be so popular they will now be held monthly, rather than every two months.

The next three ‘Find out about Adoption’ events scheduled for 2019 are:

  • Thursday 21 March;
  • Tuesday 16 April; and
  • Thursday 16 May.
