Traffic accident data

Leicestershire County Council is able to provide Road Traffic Collision (RTC) data for all roads within Leicestershire (including motorways and trunk roads managed by Highways England).

What can be provided

Only data for road traffic collisions (RTCs) which have been reported through Leicestershire Police, and comply with the:

Department for Transport’s STATS20 requirements

are held by the county council. Data for the current and previous year may be provisional and subject to change.

Please send the details of your request, including a map indicating the area of interest to: rtcdata@leics.gov.uk

A team member will get back to you as soon as possible with costs (if applicable) or if further information is required to process your request.

At present, it's only possible to provide results of the data request in PDF format. The documents below outline examples of the results you can expect to receive.
