As a council, we want to enable our local Armed Forces community and help those returning to or new to Leicestershire, to settle in the quickest time and with the minimal upheaval.
We have a long-standing and pro-active relationship with local regular and reserve units, as well as veterans, cadets and other forces organisations and charities.
Armed Forces Covenant
We are committed to the pledge we made when we signed the Armed Forces Covenant. A promise to support Armed Forces families to not face disadvantage in accessing public services due to their military service and we are proud to be a forces friendly employer.
