Before the offer day

  • Log in to the parent portal to check access
  • Use the same email address you registered with
  • Reset your password if needed
  • Ensure you're using Google Chrome web browser for the best experience
  • Bookmark the Leicestershire Admissions website

Log in to the Parent Portal

On offer day

  • Check your email informing you of your decision if you applied online - emails will be sent by 10am (check your spam / junk folders if you don't see it).
  • Log in to the parent portal to view your offer, also available by 10am on the day.
  • If you submitted a paper application and didn’t include an email address, you’ll receive your decision in the post. This can take up to 5 working days.
  • If you need help, visit the admissions website or complete an online contact form.

After receiving your offer

  • If you're happy with your offer, no further action is needed - your child's place is secure and the allocated school will be in contact.
  • If you applied late, your application will be processed after national offer day.
  • If you need further help, contact the admissions team or complete a contact form - see contacting us below.

Not offered a higher preference school(s) or any of your preferences

  • You will automatically be placed on the waiting list of your higher preference school/s and you will retain the right of appeal.
  • You will automatically be allocated a place if all your preferences have been refused, at the next nearest school (to your home address) that still has a space and you will retain the right of appeal.

Contacting us

Our customer services lines will be very busy on National Offer Day. This means you may not be able to get through first time or you may experience long waiting times. If you can, consider calling a day or two later if you need to speak to us.

Alternatively, If you applied online and don't receive an email from us by 10am on the day, you can use our online form and select the National offer day button for help with your query.
