More than 700 courses are available to adults across Leicestershire as GoLearn launches for the 2025/26 academic year.

Run by Leicestershire County Council’s adult learning service, GoLearn offers part-time, day, evening, and weekend courses.

Anyone aged 19 and over can take a course, which ranges from languages, English, Maths and digital skills to Wellbeing courses and Apprenticeships.

Over 4,000 people took a course last year, which helps to build confidence, develop essential skills, and help towards professional goals.

Such success has seen the 2024/25 intake one of the service’s most popular yet but with 2025/26 applications now open, teams are looking to bolster numbers for the start of the upcoming academic year.

“Every year GoLearn sees thousands of people enjoy our courses and we hope that this year will be no different.

“There’s something for everyone and lots of our courses are completely free or have reduced fees if you qualify for support. So whether you’re trying something new to improve health and wellbeing or gain a new qualification, take a look to see which one best suits you.”

Applications for courses starting in September 2025 are now open. Browse the full range and apply online.

For support with course choices or enrolment, call the GoLearn team on 0800 988 0308 (lines open Monday-Friday, 8.30am to 7pm).

More information on offers and the support available for GoLearn courses, including reduced fees and the Discretionary Learner Support Fund to help with transport and childcare is available both online and over the phone.
