Misuse of a badge

A Blue Badge can only be used by the badge holder.  It is a criminal offence to misuse a Blue Badge and a fine of £1,000 could be issued.

To help us identify the badge holder, we’ll need as much of the following information as possible:

  • name or address of the badge holder
  • serial number of the badge (visible through the windscreen when the badge is in use)
  • place where the badge is regularly used
  • vehicle registration number
  • description of the driver or car
  • date and time you saw this
