About First Contact Plus
First Contact Plus is a partnership initiative that provides easy access to services for adults across the county. You can get access to information, advice, signposting, or onward referrals that can help you to stay fit, healthy, happy and independent along with the option to contact an advisor if you need some extra help.
We give support and advice related to:
- health
- safety
- housing
- falls prevention
- living independently
- families and relationships
- money, debt, and benefits
- work, learning, and volunteering

Referrals
Any resident of Leicestershire aged 16+ who could benefit from additional help or services can be referred to First Contact Plus.
You can refer yourself (or someone else if they don't require feedback on referral).
Alternatively, a referral can be made on your behalf if you are being supported by a professional (i.e. support worker, GP, housing officer).
An advisor from the service will contact you to discuss your needs and offer solutions.
