Your responsibilities
Community events such as charity events, celebrations, commemorations, and annual events help bring people together and it is the event organisers’ responsibility to plan for the safe delivery of their events.
When an event meets one of the following criteria the organiser should register their event via the Borough or District Council:
- 500 or more attending
- VIP attendance
- military attendance
- highway impact
- community impact
